What Exactly is the Chief Minister's Fellowship Programme?

CM Fellows will now be eligible for age relaxation in recruitment exams conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) and the UP Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC). Specifically, completing one year as a CM Fellow grants a one-year age relaxation. Those who complete two or three years will receive a two-year or three-year relaxation, respectively. Additional Marks: This is where it gets particularly interesting! CM Fellows will also be awarded extra marks in their recruitment exams. The exact number of marks depends on the total marks of the exam and the duration of the fellowship:

The Fellowship Details
CM Fellows receive a monthly stipend of Rs 40,000, a digital tablet, and, where possible, accommodation. The fellowship is initially for one year and can be extended up to two more years. The eligibility criteria are straightforward: a graduation degree with at least 60 percent marks, proficiency in Hindi (reading, writing, and speaking), and basic computer skills. Interestingly, the program has attracted candidates with advanced degrees like Ph.D. and M.Tech.
