Get ready for a heartwarming journey as we dive into Cheerios' latest campaign, 'Full Circle,' a celebration of Canadian athletic excellence and legacy! 🌟 But here's where it gets really special...
Since 1998, General Mills Canada has been a proud partner of Team Canada, and more recently, the Canadian Paralympic Team. And now, they're taking this partnership to new heights with a campaign that will leave you inspired!
The Power of Cheerios: A Legacy Unveiled
'Full Circle' is all about honoring the brand's long-standing commitment to Canadian athletes, and it does so by telling a story that spans generations. Meet Marie-Philip Poulin, whose journey with Cheerios began in 2002, the year women's hockey made its Olympic debut. As a young athlete, Marie-Philip discovered Team Canada, and specifically, Cassie Campbell, featured on a Cheerios box. Fast forward to today, and it's Marie-Philip's turn to shine! She's now the face of Cheerios, inspiring the next generation of athletes just as she was inspired all those years ago.
But the campaign doesn't stop there. It also features Canadian Paralympian Mark Arendz on the multi-grain Cheerios box, showcasing the brand's dedication to celebrating diverse athletic journeys. By simply yet symbolically making space on a cereal box for these incredible athletes, Cheerios is reminding us that their stories extend far beyond the sports field.
The 'Full Circle' campaign will be launched nationally during the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games and will continue throughout the Paralympic Games, from March 6 to 15, 2026. You can catch it on TV (CBC), digital and streaming platforms, OOH, and online media. And for those who want a deeper dive, a long-form version (65 seconds) will be available on Cheerios and General Mills' channels, serving as the heart of this PR campaign.
So, what do you think? Is this campaign a home run for Cheerios? Does it effectively celebrate Canadian athletic legacy? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments! 🏆
